Pro Plan is pretty solid

Catalister's Pro Plan is much better than the basic plan I used before. I like how they use real-time sales data for research. Applying the coupon at checkout was easy, though I wish there was a 15% off coupon instead of just 10% sometimes.

pretty good for small ops

was looking into things like jungle scout but wanted something more budget-friendly for my little business. found a code for Catbird's Starter Package here, and it works pretty well for what i need. the coupon applied fine at checkout, which is always a relief, tho i do wish they had slightly longer trial periods before committing.

I'm trying to apply a discount code I found online for Catalister, but it keeps saying 'invalid'. Do Catalister coupons expire quickly?

D DeepikaL 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
A lot of them do, especially the limited-time ones or new user offers. I've had that happen before. Sometimes they're only valid for specific plans too.

R RaviK 3 weeks ago
Yeah, usually the smaller percentage ones last longer than the big ones.

S SamirJ 3 weeks ago
Ugh, that's frustrating. It didn't specify any plan restrictions.

I'd recommend checking their official site or signing up for their newsletter. That's how I got a percentage off my first month. Random codes online are often old.

Following. Also looking for a code.

Their newsletter usually has valid offers.

Good idea. I'll try signing up for their emails.

My SEO Optimization Engine suggestions from Catalister seem a bit generic sometimes. Is there a way to make them more tailored to my specific niche?

G GitaL 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
Are you feeding it enough specific keywords related to your niche initially? The more detailed input you give for the Product Research Tool, the better the SEO suggestions tend to be. It learns from your product context.

S ShekharM 1 week ago
Hmm, I usually just put in the main product name. I'll try adding more specific long-tail keywords next time.

Yeah, context is everything for AI-driven suggestions.

Sometimes I find the suggestions improve after I've updated a few listings and it has more data from my account. It's not instant, but it gets smarter over time.

Exactly. The more you use it, the more refined it gets.

That makes sense. So it's a bit of a learning curve for the tool itself.

I'm considering the annual subscription for Catalister. Is the discount on the annual plan usually significant enough to justify paying upfront?

A ArjunM 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
For me, yes. It's usually like getting 2 months free compared to monthly. If you're committed to using the tool for a year, it's a no-brainer to save some cash.

S SakshiT 2 weeks ago
That's a pretty good saving. Thanks!

R RituJ 2 weeks ago
Agreed. I always go annual for subscriptions I know I'll use long-term.

It depends on your cash flow. If you're tight on funds, monthly might be better for flexibility, even with the discount. But if you can swing it, annual is the way to go.

S SakshiT 2 weeks ago
Good perspective on the cash flow part. Something to think about.

Just got the Pro Plan for Catalister, pretty excited to see how the Competitor Analysis feature helps me. Anyone using it for Amazon FBA?

P PriyaS 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Yeah, I'm on the Pro Plan too. The competitor analysis is decent, but I find the Keyword Research Module even more useful for FBA. It helps me spot niches I wouldn't have thought of.

A Amit99 1 month ago
Completely agree on the keyword module. It's a game-changer for long-tail keywords.
1
R RohanK 1 month ago
Oh really? I was debating between Pro and Business. Maybe I should check out the keyword module more.

M MeeraD 1 month ago
I'm still on the Basic plan, but thinking of upgrading. Is the competitor analysis worth the extra cost, or should I save up for the Business plan directly?
10
P PriyaS 1 month ago
Depends on your volume. For me, Pro was a good stepping stone. Business is overkill if you're just starting.

R RahulG 1 month ago
I'd say Pro first. You get a good feel for the advanced features without the big jump.

Following this, also thinking of upgrading.

Thinking of getting Catalister for my small e-commerce store. Is it actually suitable for small businesses, or is it more for bigger players?

P PoojaR 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I run a small handicraft shop online and the Basic Plan has been a lifesaver for my product listings. The Product Description Generator saves me so much time.
16
A AnkurJ 1 month ago
The Basic plan is pretty straightforward. You don't need all the bells and whistles initially.
4
R RahulS 1 month ago
Good to know! I was worried it might be too complex.
5
G GauravM 1 month ago
It depends on what you need. For just listing creation, even the Basic works. If you're looking into deep market trend analysis, then maybe Pro or Business. But you can grow into it.
9
R RahulS 1 month ago
That's a good point. Start small and upgrade.
